Ok, so time for a little bit of nostalgia here for people that are around my age. Watching last night’s Monday Night Football game, I saw the new Nike Ad with Bo Jackson yelling at Robinson Cano to impress him, then he yells boom and I’m waiting for the dynamite to happen. Watching this commercial made me think back to the Bo Jackson commercials of old though. I thought that he had some pretty sweet Nike ads back in the day so, I said to self, “Self, why don’t you find these old videos?”. So I did this.
As it turns out, Bo Jackson’s commercials weren’t nearly as memorable as I remember. As a matter of fact, they kinda stink. Compared to a lot of shoe commercials at the time, Nike certainly could’ve done better. Check em all out for yourself after the jump and be prepared to be as disappointed as I was. Or not, whatever.
