Sure there’s a world record for everything these days but did you know that there is a world record distance for a paper airplane flight?  There is and it is 207 feet and 4 inches set by Stephen Kreiger in 2003. That record won’t last long though as  Joe Ayoob just broke it by 19 feet, 6 inches by throwing a paper airplane 226 feet, 10 inches at  McClellan AFB.

Impressed? You should be, you try to make a paper airplane that can even go a tenth of that distance and you’ll see how difficult a task this really is.

The record attempt needs to be verified by Guinness but that is just a matter of time.  Check out Joe, the paper airplane guy, here with his soon to be world record toss:
