Meh. Faiaz, sh*t happens. It’s a game. Instant replay placates the fans watching on TV at home, but takes away from the game, what happens on the field. The umps are a part of the game, Joyce blew it, he admitted and accepted that. Everyone handled it as best they could, I mean, much better than most would. Gallaraga, what class. Leyland, waited until the end of the game to lay into Joyce, then had the class to put the call where it belongs in Joyce’s 22 year MLB career.

WHEN not IF, this leads to replays in calls like such in crucial moments… as a sign of appreciation to Gallaraga, for having something so special being taken away from him… something that he has clearly earned… we should all call the replay “the Gallaraga replay.” I just hope I get credit for the idea WHEN this happens. LOL. Oh and I’m a Yankees fan, not a tigers fan.
