Spain’s Olympic Basketball Team Looking To Offend China

This is an advertisement for a courier company, which took out a full page in the country’s best selling newspaper Marca…showing Spain’s Olympic Basketball team in full “slanty eye” mode. Apparently they thought no one would mind this. Anyone get the feeling that someone else might be gettin stabby while out there in China?

I think what they did was very ignorant. And why would they think they wouldn’t offend China? What were they thinking?
I think any medals that they have won, they should be stripped of, and they shouldn’t be allowed to play in any other events.

was spain afraid of losing the game is that way they did this to get the chinese mad can we say bad sportmanship down with spain stupidity and sad that a team representing a country would do thid and thinks that this is ok
i think and eye for an eye the team should be drag out into the street and be humiliated and strpped of all the medals and banned from next year olympic games
Bloody hell.Some people don’t have any sense of humour it seems.
They didn’t mean anything by it, we ain’t racist in Spain, at least no more than other countries are.
The Chinese actually acknowledged they werent offended by it anyway, and furthermore, everyone in the team apologised after all the fuss.
By the way,we got the silver medal in one of the greatest games of basketball ever, of course you don’t probably know cause you dont give a toss for basketball in the UK other than seeing a conspiracy where there ain’t any
