Appalachian State Knows How To Riot!
Sure its not like a University of Maryland riot (ie: flipping cars over and lighting them on fire, huge bonfires throughout campus, etc.) its more of a somewhat orderly march, but these guys went nuts all over the small town of Boone, NC…and we found some video of the Mountaineers fans carrying their goalpost across town to the school’s Chancellor’s house after their team’s upset victory against the Michigan Wolverines.
I’m sure that made sense at the time, it is interesting to watch the gang mentality take over these students however. I guess by not being able to go to the game, they had to vent somehow, and they chose this method. There were a lot of shirtless guys in the videos…but no women in a similar state of undress…not a flash or a bikini top at all. Shame really, what’s wrong with kids these days?

You’ll be interested to know that Boone and campus PD recorded no arrests that night in connection to the celebrations. In fact one little T-shirt store was so busy, customers had to take their shirts outside to get into line to pay for them.
Sounds like a great party in Boone!
